SUMMARY

This is technical work supporting and improving manufacturing

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand production- work as operator in molding, paint, and assembly (1-2 wks each)

• Understand Molding (work with mold tech and engineer - (1-2 wks)

• Understand Paint - Work with paint tech and engineer - (1-2 wks)

• Understand Assembly - work with maintenance tech and engineer (1-2 wks)

• Assist in mold samples

• Assist in tool room to learn injection tools

• Work with engineers to do time studies

• Develop WIP packaging

• Put together production instructions (OIS,QIS,Process sheets, Quality alerts...)

• Participate and put together PPS

• Work with Launch champion as needed

• Mock up parts to simulate engineering changes

• Write work orders

• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Enrollment in an Engineering degree program.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Possess the ability to gather and analyze information and make decisions from a limited number of choices.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

This position typically does not require any travel.
