As a member of the startup team, the Marketing Director will design and manage the full funnel marketing strategy that fuels Simplified Solutions, Prudential’s new startup that is committed to expanding access to millions of Americans who are uninsured or underinsured today. Primary responsibilities will include owning the strategy for demand generation, web optimization, email, social media and improving the customer journey with marketing automation.

The ideal candidate will:


  • Show strength in driving results in digital customer engagement and acquisition funnel performance

  • have excellent relationship-building skills and act as a subject matter expert for B2B and consumer marketing

  • drive the utilization of technology and related analytics to design and deploy digital marketing strategies that expand partnership opportunities and iterate to optimize performance

  • exemplify a ‘can-do’ attitude and take thoughtful risks to move things forward in a small, fast-paced environment, and

  • effectively lead, influence and empower others to successfully execute on strategies.

What you can expect:


  • Develop, implement and oversee marketing strategies to reach target customer markets for different sales channels and distribution partners.

  • Leverage agile methodology to lead the Simplified Solutions marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, data driven decisions, and high velocity execution.

  • Utilize marketing technology tools such as CRM systems, email automation platforms, and analytics software to drive campaign effectiveness.

  • Analyze data and KPIs to track campaign performance with an eye towards continual optimization and ROI.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with business objectives.

  • Leverage insights to identify new opportunities and refine targeting strategies to meet needs of customers and distribution partners based on psychographic and cultural attributes.

  • Understand partner needs and work with sales team on strategies to increase conversion and optimize funnel metrics with each distribution partner throughout the relationship.

  • Operate as key liaison with Branding, Digital and Marketing organizations on behalf of SS team and its customers/partners.

What you’ll need:


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 6-8 years marketing experiences, preferably within Financial Services

  • Proven experience in digital marketing, with a focus on driving results through innovative strategies and use of marketing technology.

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.

  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

It’d be a plus if you had:


  • Experience and expertise with digital marketing platforms (Adobe suite experience)

  • Experience developing segmentation strategies in highly complex market environment

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $160,700.00 to $217,300.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
