Job Description Summary
The purpose of this position is to assist in the preparation, inventory, and loading of finished goods for shipment to customers.
Responsibilities
Review assigned pick ticket and operate pallet jack/tow motor to transport items on the list to the shipping area for final preparation for shipment
Scan products to and from their designated area
Stack cartons of finished product onto skids and use plastic wrap machine to secure product for shipment
Operate tow motor to load product into trucks in loading bay
Perform other related duties and assignments as required
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with RF Scanners desired
Prior experience in a shipping/warehouse environment preferred
All work will be performed in a production setting, and will involve standing for long periods of time, and operating a tow motor, scale, and plastic wrap machine
Ability to lift boxes up to 30 lbs.
