We are partnering with a leading MSP company in Costa Mesa, CA hiring a HelpDesk/Field Technician II to start immediately.
This is a 100% on site position in Costa Mesa, CA.
80% working in the office, 20% working in the field at the clients' sites.
We are looking for someone with 4+ years of experience, ideally within the MSP environment but not required.
Familiar with Cisco Meraki, all concepts and aspects of a Windows Network, Windows Server Environments, MS Server Stack - Windows, SQL, Exchange, All 365 Modules, Teams, Google Workspace
Need someone who is well rounded, who is the escalation point from Level 1
Problem solver, positive attitude, take escalations, etc.
Ability to test the network, understand and troubleshoot server technologies
We are looking for a friendly, skilled Level 2 Technician to handle escalated Technical Support, IT Network, and System Administrator responsibilities to join our inspired team, providing excellent IT service throughout Orange County.
The ideal candidate should have much of the following experience:
Strong Layer 1 and 2 Networking
Working in an IT department, managing clients/users and setting expectations
Microsoft Windows Server
Windows Client OS and desktop applications
Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange, SQL
PowerShell a plus
Networking, Cisco, SonicWall, Network Security
Systems Back Up and Disaster Recovery, Developing Continuity Plans
Hosted Services, MS 365, Google Apps, Cloud Services, etc.
Managed IT Services (MSP) experience
Conducting a comprehensive IT audit
Perform a security assessment
Server Virtualization
Small business IT environments
Other Requirements:
IMPORTANT - any applicant offered the position must be able to pass a federal background check
Valid driver's license and Proof of Insurance
Integrity, Honesty, and Loyalty a must

Associates degree or better in Information Systems, or a related field; or any equivalent combination of experience, education and training which provides the desired knowledge, skills and abilities.
4+ years experience as a Support Specialist / Technician (remote and onsite support).
Network+, Security+, MCP, MCDST or MCSE, certified candidates are preferred but not required
