Job Description:

Seeking a Global Project Controls Manager to lead our project controls execution teams, comprised of cost and schedule professionals across the global portfolio (NORAM, EU and eventually APAC). This is a critical leadership role with Meta's Design Engineering and Construction group to lead the vision and execution within the project controls space focused on proactive risk management, effective change management, schedule/claims management, continued embedment of commercial accountability and financial reporting/compliance for our annual active CAPEX portfolio. The role will collaborate extensively with Engineering, Delivery and Design leadership, XFN partners such as Infra Supply Chain and Engineering, FP&A, Strategic Planning, Business Operations, Operations and Accounting (among others) to ensure seamless and proactive commercial and schedule reporting and financial compliance.



Global Project Controls Manager Responsibilities:



  • Manage Area Project Controls Managers and some execution focused programmatic function and active leadership of a team of 20+ Project Controls Analysts, Area Cost Leads, Area Schedule Leads for DEC's New Build, Leased and Retrofits Portfolio, including fostering growth, exposure, team satisfaction, increasing the team's value and impact to the business.   • Set and embed team's vision for proactive risk management, commercial accountability, financial and schedule compliance and business reporting

  • Provide active leadership and influence in cross functional forums such as Health reviews, Performance reviews, Circle of leadership, huddle week, and external meetings, using Project Controls based data and insight

  • Responsible and point of contact (POC) for holistic financial and schedule reporting to the business, in collaboration with our planning / eng teams and consolidating reporting with the planning portfolios.

  • Support DEC in improving cost and schedule performance, through cost and schedule data insights and trends (lessons learned), ensuring the business understands root cause of changes, delays, risks in the business

  • Collaborate with QAQC and Supply chain groups to align reporting around predictive schedule indicators to support proactive risk identification

  • As part of the leadership of the Business Controls and TechOps teams, help lead and Contribute to the growth of the teams within the group, including goal and OKR planning

  • Support the tracking and accomplishment of all relevant OKRs that are dependent on Project Controls insights

  • Continue to remain the end user escalation point, subject matter expert and point of contact for the deployment of DEC's newest end to end financial management tool (Unifier)





Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelors or Masters Degrees in Construction management, engineering or other equivalent degrees

  • 10+ years of experience with project controls, construction management, accounting, finance or other relevant large CAPEX experience.





Preferred Qualifications:



  • Unifier, P6, ebuilder experience preferred.

  • Adept with industry standard tooling for business reporting needs, Meta tooling experience preferred.
