Position OverviewAssist Office Manager with receptionist duties and operations of front desk to ensure quality service is provided to all users of Business Academic Advising which includes: students, employers, faculty/staff, prospective/incoming students and families. Job Description
Answer general questions regarding KU, the School of Business, and Capitol Federal Hall.
Answer and direct incoming calls to staff.
Schedule appointments for students with advising staff.
Check-in students for advising appointments; manage check-in process between students and advisors for drop-by advising.
Required Qualifications
Must be a KU student enrolled in at least 6 credit hours.
Must be available to work 12 hours per week Tuesday and Thursday 12:30pm - 5pm, and Friday 2pm - 5pm, and available to continue employment beyond the 2024-2025 Academic Year.
During the semester term of the appointment, the KU student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must: 1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or 2) be pre-enrolled in upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or 3) be enrolled in summer session or 4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester.
