Job Summary:

The Clinical Assistant is primarily responsible for ensuring high quality and continuity in the provision of comprehensive primary medical care services. The Clinical Assistant is utilized in performing typical front and back office clinical functions. The Clinical Assistant is under the overall onsite supervision of the Nursing Supervisor.

Ability to lift, carry push, and pull 20 pounds, stoop, reach, stand, walk, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Required:

-Completion of an approved Clinical Assistant Program or two (2) yearsof related experience in a clinical setting.  
-Valid Driver's License

Skills, Proficiencies, and Knowledge:

-Knowledge of all areas related to clinic workflow.
-Excellent customer serviceskills and good communication skills.
-Ability to multi-task while providinggood patient care. 
-Good computer skills and ability to learn new computersystems as needed.
-Primary skills include verbal and written communication withpatients to promote continuity of care and follow-up as well as daily retrieval
-Scanning/filing of clinical encounter forms and reports for use by clinicstaff during patient care activities.
