Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in Newport News, VA.

Duties Include:

• Accounts Payable Specialist will be managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs


• Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors


• Analyzing workflow processes


• Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors


• Ensuring bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures


• As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be processing due invoices for payments


• Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges


• Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts

REQUIREMENTS:

• Full Cycle AP experience


• Deltek Costpoint experience


• Remote work experience

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
