Performs analytical testing on critical parts, using a Liquid Particle Counter (LPC)
Works within a team to achieve customer-dictated delivery schedules
Works in a cleanroom environment for specialty processes
Supports design-of-experiments and customer process development
Handle chemicals, solutions, and chemical waste in a safe and appropriate manners
Detail oriented, can follow production processes in a consistent and exacting manner
Generate lab testing reports for customers
Maintain production records on all parts processed through each station
Take measurements for critical dimensions
Additional duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Must have a certificate or associate's degree in chemical technology or a related field like chemical process engineering
Must be able to use Excel and be comfortable with computer use for reporting data
Prefer laboratory experience or equivalent experience working with an ICP-MS or LPC in a manufacturing environment
Must have demonstrated ability to follow instructions, handle delicate parts and equipment, and work with hazardous materials
Must have pride in his or her work and a quality orientation
Must be comfortable using computers for various work flows
Must be comfortable lifting up to 25 pounds
Interaction with Other Employees:
Regularly communicate with the Production, Lab Manager and teammates on daily assignments and reports any discrepancies or relevant production related information
Works frequently with Manufacturing Director to improve quality and processes
