Application Development / Maintenance (multiple positions)(State Street Bank and Trust Company; Boston, MA and Quincy, MA): Will be responsible for application design, and development. Will work as a hands-on developer leading a team of developers in multiple areas supporting the businesses activities. Specific duties of the position include: Provide technology leadership across multiple large scale business applications in partnership with senior architects and product managers; Continuously improve the Application Development and support processes; Identify and complete opportunities for automation; Improve internal development and support processes; Meet or exceed commitments to customers; Foster a service attitude; Partner with technology senior colleagues to ensure reliable, efficient daily operating capabilities; Ensure application development initiatives are well managed and deliver on expectations (i.e., functionality, timeliness, and cost); Promote agile application development where appropriate; and Cultivate technical talent to deliver results and support future growth. Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree, or its equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related technical field, plus 5 years of experience in hands-on technology development in a large-scale, high-performance application development environment in the financial services industry. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master's degree, or its equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related technical field, plus 3 years of experience in hands-on technology development in a large-scale, high-performance application development environment in the financial services industry.

Must have: Demonstrated solid ability in Java/J2EE; Demonstrated experience effectively using cloud computing, Tomcat, or Red Hat Linux; Demonstrated solid ability with web services, JMS; Demonstrated solid ability with Oracle, PL/SQL, stored procedures, or Exadata; Demonstrated solid ability with UI frameworks, such as React JS, GWT; and Demonstrated strong level of competence in results focus, business acumen, curiosity, technology level influence and teamwork. Salary Range:
$157,643 - $210,000 Annual
