View Point Health is a community behavioral health center utilizing a team of psychiatrists, nurses, licensed counselors and social workers, as well as other professionals to provide services to individuals who need treatment and support to cope with mental illness, substance abuse, and intellectual and developmental disabilities. View Point Health serves uninsured, underinsured, low-income Medicaid, Medicare, war veterans and some private insurance across multiple locations with a full continuum of behavioral health services and support.

As part of our ongoing growth as a Community Service Board (CSB), View Point Health is excited to announce we have the honor of being selected as the provider of services for individuals with behavioral health and intellectual disabilities for a few new Recovery Residences.

We are opening 2 new Recovery Residences located in Lawrenceville, Ga. These Recovery Residences are called the Bright (Building Residential Independence, Growth and Hope Together) Homes. The estimated length of stay for the individuals served is 3- 6 months. We offer support to young adults between the ages of 18 -21. The homes are co-ed. These individuals will be offered modified DBT and other clinical interventions at the level appropriate for the individual. These homes specialize in clients with a dual diagnosis of mental health as well as mild to moderate intellectual and development delays. The home will house up to 4 clients in each home.

We also have the STAR (Specialized Treatment and Residence) home. This program is located in Conyers, Ga. The estimated length of stay is 1 year. We offer support to young adults. This home is dedicated to female clients. These individuals will be offered modified DBT and other clinical interventions at the level appropriate for the individual that resides in the home. This home specializes in self-harm with primary mental health diagnosis of SMI (severe mental health illness). The home will house up to 4 clients.

The clinical interventions will be delivered via individual clinical services as well as a clinical learning environment provided in a group setting at the homes. We are hiring full-time, part-time and PRN positions.

While working at this facility, employees will receive:

DBT skills training (modified for population).
DBT training
Other training can be added based upon the clinical need of client.


Duties & Responsibilities:

Provides counseling/therapy to clients requiring complex intervention.
Perform psychosocial assessments, treatment planning/monitoring and discharge planning. Performs commitment determinations and/or executes orders of involuntary commitments.
Provides individual, family, or group therapeutic counseling and/or educational and skill development sessions as indicated in the service plan.
Monitors consumer progress and compliance with the service plan.
Writes timely progress notes that relate directly to the treatment outcomes described in the service plan.
Assembles, analyzes, and interprets new/updated assessment information about the consumer in order to assess treatment needs.
Identifies unmet needs, reviews available resources, and develop/modifies the treatment plan as indicated.
Requests treatment authorizations and re-authorizations within required time frames.
Billing targets are required.
Provides and bills for services.
Cover a caseload of 16 clients entailing:
Assist with Point of Entry, initial and ongoing authorizations, and orders for service.
Resolve failed claims in a time manner.
Work directly with staff and home supervisor to assist with client updates.
Attend treatment team/meeting to discuss client progress.
Assist with gathering collateral information.
Assist with other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in a related area from an accredited college or university AND eligibility to be licensed AND Two years of supervised experience in the area of assignment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Georgia License as LCSW or LPC eligible.
At least ONE YEAR experience working with MH/SA clients completing Assessments, Crisis Interventions, Diagnosing, Treatment Plans
Experience with CareLogic or other EMR.
Is comfortable and proficient with collaborative & concurrent documentation.
Experience in trauma-informed care, or trauma related interventions and skills.
Must pass criminal records fingerprint check.


Requirements/Competencies:

Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
Requires long periods of sitting/standing.
Must have valid Georgia driver's license and Motor Vehicle Record in accordance with company policy.
Candidates for selection must pass a criminal background check (including fingerprinting).
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and subject to random drug screens.
Any combination of training and experience, which would have enabled the applicant to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities Note: Some positions may require a valid driver's license.
Other duties as assigned.
