  • As the Sales Manager, you will oversee the SalesOperations at Linde Components Americas, and lead the sales teamby developing concepts resulting in increased order intake, market share andreturn on sales, establishing and cultivating relationships with clients,understanding of the market including regular competitor analysis andevaluating costs to determine the sales price

  • Further, you will positively impact the order intake and the profitability of the company through strategic and tactical sales management

  • Also, you will actively contribute to establishing budgets, sales pipeline with qualified opportunities in an effective manner to ensure achievement of order intake goals, reporting and forecasting

  • You will be responsible for the identification, qualifying and managing sales opportunities both externally and internally from preparation of the proposal through contract award and project handover to project execution

  • You also will establish an accurate cost estimation process supported by tools and considering latest market developments

  • Additionally, you will be developing relationships with industry contacts, prospective clients, and existing customers

  • You will oversee and directs market research, competitor analyses, and customer retention initiatives.

  • You will be coaching and mentoring employees and attending appropriate technical conferences and meetings

  • Also, you will learn and abide by the Linde Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct. Demonstrate honesty, integrity, andprofessionalism in all communications, actions, and decisions


What makes you great


  • You have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as marketing or business administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • You have a minimum of 5 years Sales experience in a managerial function or similar

  • While prior experience with cryogenic equipment is preferred, the relevant know-how can also be provided through company training

  • You have excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills including an understanding of audience development

  • You are a self-motivated team player in a demanding and supportive environment with the ability to be a catalyst for change

  • You also have technical skills in strategic planning and marketing, business and market development and market research.

  • Also, you have effective leadership and coaching skills

  • Lastly, you have effective computer skills; Microsoft Office Software, Salesforce.com, and other Company and discipline specific software applications
