If hired for this position, you will be eligible for a one-time sign-on bonus of $2,000.00 minus appropriate tax withholding will be paid to you on the first pay period after you start your employment at Arthrex.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Set up and operate a variety of machines including a CNC mill, Laser Markers, Laser Welders, and Bead Blast Chambers to manufacture complex close tolerance components to specified criteria on repair work orders or standard work instructions.

  • Effectively collaborate with cross-functional departments (Repair, Manufacturing, and Quality).

  • Conducts inspections as required within the department utilizing micrometers, calipers, and microscope measuring systems.

  • Participate in and help with the development of standardized work practices.

  • Responsible for performing preventative maintenance tasks and completing associated documentation promptly.

  • Performs 5S activities like cleaning machines or housekeeping within the machine shop department.

  • Maintains a high level of teamwork with Service Engineering, Quality, and other Repair personnel to complete projects promptly.

  • Follows all safety training requirements for the position. Notifies management and or the Safety representative of any unsafe work conditions.

  • Ensures all departmental procedures and Good Document Practices (GDP) are followed.

  • Participate in and help with repair floor process improvement projects. (For example: 5S, Lean Manufacturing Initiatives, etc.)

  • Perform all other duties as assigned or required by the repair leadership.

Education and Experience:


  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • 2 years of relevant experience required. A certificate or diploma from a relevant trade school program is preferred.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Intermediate computer and mechanical knowledge is required. Experienced in reading and interpreting work instructions, CAD drawings, specifications, and procedures required . Knowledge of machining processes, CNC G-Code, and material properties preferred.
