We have an opening in our Psychiatric Occupational Therapy team for a per diem OT therapist. This role will focus on the following areas:
perform OT evaluations and assessments
establishes treatment goals with patient input
establishes treatment plans
applies Occupational Treatment to patients
documents and communicates necessary information
delegates and supervises patient's treatments to Assistants
delegates and supervises patient and nonpatient related tasks to support personnel
collaborates with other disciplines to provide coordinated, interdisciplinary care
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be entry level and have a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy. Licensed, CPR certification, knowledge of behaviors of adult population and mental health.
Must have 1+ years experience working in mental health and flexibility covering weekday and weekends.
