JOB SUMMARY 

Are you ready to take your expertise in retail strategy and product development to the next level? We're seeking a dynamic and innovative Merchant to join our team and drive impactful product strategies that captivate consumers and ignite sales growth. As a Merchant, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our brand's story through strategic product assortment and pricing strategies. RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Analyze sales performance, assortment, and competitor offerings to optimize product strategies.


  • Identify opportunities for new product strategies and business growth based on market insights.


  • Develop long-term forecasting and product strategies to drive sales growth.


  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop products aligned with brand values and target margins.


  • Finalize product assortment, colors, sizing, and pricing based on data-driven insights.


  • Partner with Inventory Planning to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels.


  • Monitor sales trends to inform pricing and inventory management decisions.


  • Stay informed about market trends to influence product strategies and identify new opportunities.


  • Determine pricing strategies based on financial goals and competition.


  • Ensure product quality meets or exceeds customer expectations through collaboration with design teams.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Passion and Expertise: Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, coupled with 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in buying or product development, from conceptualization to consumer delivery, as well as a solid background in merchandising.


  • Proven Business Savvy: Demonstrate a track record of successfully managing and nurturing business growth. Your ability to navigate financial metrics and drive strategic business development initiatives sets you apart.


  • Analytical Insight: Possess strong analytical prowess, adept at deciphering complex financial metrics, and translating them into actionable insights that fuel business success.


  • Compelling Communicator: Your communication and presentation skills are second to none, enabling you to articulate ideas effectively and garner buy-in across diverse stakeholders.


  • Collaborative Influence: Showcase your knack for collaboration by seamlessly working across functions and influencing internal stakeholders. Your ability to foster cohesive teamwork and drive consensus is key.


  • Decisive Problem Solver: Exhibit independent decision-making skills and adept problem-solving capabilities. You thrive in dynamic environments where quick thinking and decisive action are paramount.
