POSITION SUMMARY
Aleut is searching for four capable and committed Training Facilitators to support the Government in helping to develop and refine this program and provide effective SAPR training to USAFA cadets and permanent party members.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Training support will focus on seven key areas:
Heathy Relationships Education (HRE)
Healthy Relationships Training (HRT)
Suicide Prevention Training
Cadet Wingman Intervention Training (CWIT) and Wingman Intervention Training (WIT)
Secure Bond Leadership Training
Cadet Healthy Interpersonal Skills (CHiPS)
Sexual Communication and Consent
Support will begin with train-the-trainer education and then move to facilitation
Training is anticipated to be conducted primarily in a classroom environment, but will also include cadet field training support (e.g. Jack’s Valley)
Our team will also conduct surveys to gather feedback on training quality and effectiveness
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education – Bachelors or Masters degree in public health, counseling, social work, and/or psychology desired
Experience
3 years of training experience desired
Demonstrated record of providing effective training facilitation
Track record of executing direction as well as the ability to function independently
SKILLS/ABILITIES
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
Excellent interpersonal relations, conflict resolution, and teambuilding skills
Experience working in a military environment with knowledge of rank, protocol, and culture
Ability to provide night, weekend, and field support as required
Skilled with Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to pass pre-employment background screening
