Micro-Poise Measurement Systems a business unit of AMETEK is a leading OEM supplier of capital test machinery to the worldwide automotive and tire industries located in Streetsboro, Ohio. Micro-Poise is currently seeking an experienced Shipping Attendant.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Designing/build boxing, crating, and skidding needed for outgoing equipment

• Loading/unloading trucks

• Packaging equipment/small parts

• Makes local pickups and deliveries

• Identifies and verifies quantities of items required for customer order packing list

• Performs inventory counts of packaging materials and replenishment of supplies

• Maintains general organization and cleanliness of area, scrap, and scrap yard

• Follow all established safety rules

The qualified candidate will possess the following skills:

• 3+ years' experience in Shipping

• Proven ability to design/build boxes, crates, and skids

• 3+ years' experience with table saws, air nailers/staplers, cranes, banding tools and hand tools

• Valid Driver License

• 3+ years' tow motor experience with loading/unloading large equipment

• Team player with a commitment to quality

• Must be able to lift and move material up to 50 pounds

• Available to work overtime
