A leading electrical contractor in Massachusetts, seeks to hire an IT Field Technology Specialist, to join its robust IT team. You will support all facets of technology inthe office and at job sites.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting technical & network issues
Installing and configuring hardware and software
Communicating with team members to quickly resolve issues
Provide timely and accurate feedback
Following up with team members to ensure the problem is resolved
Replacing or repairing hardware
Supporting the roll-out of new applications
Providing support in the form of procedural documentation
Managing multiple cases at one time
Testing and evaluating new technologies
Repair and configuration for iPhones & iPads
Maintaining and managing job site technology including network, tech site job boxes, and connectivity
Qualifications:
Degree in computer science or information technology preferable
Basic understanding of Network technology
Certification in Comp Tia, Microsoft, Apple, or Google is advantageous
Prior experience in tech support, desktop support, or a similar role
Proficiency in Windows/G-Suite/IOS
Proficiency with Apple iPhone and iPad
Familiarity with CAD, BIM, SmartSheets, and Bluebeam
Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software
Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
