Review project files and perform quantity take-offs. Tabulate spreadsheets with ALL material quantities as shown on construction documents, plans, or specifications. Assign market costs for labor, equipment, overhead, general conditions, etc. Create project proposals that include all costs. Complete bid tabulations per project requirements with complete costs. Provide Value Engineering and design solutions for clients. Value Engineering will include proposed costs, material specifications, and material quantities. Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture or Architecture, or foreign degree equivalent of same. 12 months experience as cost estimator, project management specialist, project manager, landscape architect or architect.
