Job Description:

Location: Ottawa, IL

Salary: $150,000.00 USD Annually - $165,000.00 USD Annually

Description:
The Judge Group is seeking a Plant Manager with Food or Chemical manufacturing (mixing and batching)

in the Ottawa, IL area.



COMPENSATION: 140k to 165k plus bonus


RELOCATION: Provided for the right candidate



MUST HAVE: Bachelor's Degree (Engineering preferred but not required)


MUST HAVE: Experience in food or chemical manufacturing (mixing and batching)



RESPONSIBILITIES:


- Oversee all plant activities (Manufacturing, Maintenance, Facilities, Compliance, Capital Projects)

- Ensure plant is running at maximum efficiency

- Develop and manage manufacturing budgets (Labor, Materials, Overhead - capital budgets)

- Maintain quality standards

- Increase productivity and decrease costs

- Conduct investigations into product loss during production

- Implement new manufacturing technologies

- Review scheduling of all production employees

- Recruit and manage manufacturing personnel

- Lead the continuous improvement efforts

- Develop yearly budgets with VP Operations

- Work closely with the Executive Team and key members


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


- Bachelors degree (Engineering preferred)

- 7+ years of experience in a food or chemical manufacturing (mixing and batching) environment
