Infosys is seeking an Automotive Retail Domain Business Analyst with Automotive Dealership Management System specialization.
As a Senior Consultant, you will be expected to leverage your domain expertise and facilitate solution deployment by leading specifically assigned projects. Additionally, you will be required to provide strategic insights to the clients while designing solutions since this is a client facing role. You will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options, and makes recommendations.
Required Qualifications:
Strong problem solving and communication skills.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

Location for this position is Plano, Texas. Candidate must be located within commuting distance or be willing to relocate to the area. The job may entail occasional travel across the United States.
Any relevant certification will be an added advantage - Six Sigma, APICS, SCOR, PMP etc.
Implementation / Working Knowledge of SCM packages such as SAP Ariba, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, Oracle etc preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience as a domain / business consultant or management consultant or an industry practitioner in Automotive sector, preferably with hands-on experience in supply chain and order management
Demonstrates strong proficiency across the Auto Industry value chain and related best practices. Possess expertise in one or' more Functional areas like Sourcing, Procurement, Forecasting and Planning, Production, Logistics and Transportation, Warehouse Management etc.
Experienced in Leading and Managing Agile projects
Experience in driving meetings/workshops with senior client executives, business leads & cross functional stakeholders and articulate project documents lucidly.
Conversant with more visual, more design-thinking based, and more agile lightweight approaches such as customer personas, customer journeys, service blueprints, story maps, etc.
Understands the larger, end to end business process that solutions fit into. Willing to challenge requirements based on an understanding of prioritized objectives.
Provide research assistance and clarity of business demand specifications. Bridge gap between business and IT ensuring common understanding and IT/Business alignment. Coordinate the business subject matter experts' involvement in all aspects of the project.
Design Business Use cases, Lead Functional Architecture, Re-engineer process models and Integrate disparate services for end-to-end solution delivery
Ability to understand and use advanced analysis methods in slightly complex client scenarios to ensure problem areas are identified and impact on the business is understood
Guide technical team members to realise customer's vision as articulated in the project deliverables across Planning & Scheduling, Vehicle Logistics, Supplier Visibility, and Dynamic Order Management among others
Drive business workshops to define requirements, develop product backlog and elaborate functional specifications for an IT solution, using workshop tools like Confluence, Jira, Visio.
Work closely with Product Owners and business stakeholders to analyse requirements & prepare Product Backlog items
Prepare user stories, prepare acceptance criteria for user stories, and manage product backlog, with prioritization. For stakeholders and customers, act as a bridge between the business problems and the technology solutions from definition till supporting business during testing
Working experience in Agile methodologies & tools (e.g., JIRA), Understanding and exposure to Software dev. lifecycle
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
