General Summary:


The Associate, Revenue Performance is responsible for supporting the Acquisition & Portfolio team with profitability analysis and forecasting related to HCA portfolio revenue, cost of funds, and contribution margin, as well as portfolio analytics and profit improvements to enable accurate revenue and cost of funds forecasts, cash flows projections, and rate of return expectations The role will also assist with business planning, forecasting, analyzing financial results, and performance.



Duties and Responsibilities:


1. Prepare analysis and reports that track HCA portfolio revenue, cost of funds, and contribution margin performance relative to plan and forecasts, highlighting trends and impacts of portfolio behavior trends, and pricing/policy actions on performance.

2. Prepare portfolio analytics reports, validate data, and perform variance analysis.

3. Work with key departments to validate assumptions/impacts on revenue, COF, and CV, to support relevant forecasts and work with subject matter experts to ensure correct assumptions/changes are accurately reflected.

4. Update business plan models and key assumptions as needed.

5. Provide ad-hoc analysis and maintain regular internal tracking reports using SQL/SAS.

6. Perform all other duties as assigned.



Knowledge and Skills:


• Proficient financial skills and understanding of accounting and ability to establish links between operational and financial data.

• General accounting knowledge and understanding of business, accounting, and financial planning processes, as well as an understanding of data in financial services organizations and associated technologies is a plus.

• Intermediate to advanced querying skills using SQL and PL/SQL programming skills

• Working knowledge of financial reporting, planning systems and processes to extract, analyze and draw insight from data and present findings.

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-moving environment across multiple functions and several dynamic projects with collaboration across functions/divisions/business groups

• Exceptional attention to detail and quality.

• Ability to organize, communicate and present data.

• Strong orientation toward results coupled with reputation for integrity, creativity, and good judgment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.



Qualifications



• Minimum 2-4 years of solid financial modeling experience (product pricing and profitability, program, or business unit profitability, building financial and business cases).

• Experience with financial/managerial reporting and forecasting, and product and segment profitability analysis in a consumer lending or auto finance company strongly preferred.

• Experience with languages such as PL/SQL, SAS or VBA required.

• Experience using Oracle, OFSAA a plus.

• Bachelor's degree required. BA/BS Accounting / Finance / Computer Science / Business / MIS (or equivalent work experience to substitute for education) from a highly rated school; MBA a plus but not required.



Physical Requirements and Working Condition:


Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an office environment.
