The Director of Project Management- Windows plays a vital role in overseeing and managing the successful execution of Window projects for OBE. This position requires strong leadership, project management expertise, and a deep understanding of the Windows industry. The role will lead a team of project managers, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the timely and efficient completion of our window projects from inception to completion.


Here's What You’ll Get to Do:



  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of project managers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering/Permitting, Procurement/Supply Chain, Construction and the customer to develop and implement project plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the project management team.

  • Utilize strong financial acumen to manage project budgets, analyze financial reports, and make data-driven decisions.

  • Develop a training program for new hires as well as continuing education for the project management team.

  • Monitors project scopes, costs, schedules, staffing, change orders, communications, outside vendors, and contractual deliverables.

  • Develops standards, processes, and tools used for effective project scheduling and to set and manage quality targets.

  • Addresses internal or vendor issues that may impede project delivery and develops solutions.

  • Tracks at risk metrics and facilitates actions to keep projects on track.

  • Establishes data collection and reporting processes to capture key metrics of project activities and to provide periodic reporting.

  • Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.


Here's What We’re Looking For:



  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in a project management role with a proven track record of successfully managing and leading teams.

  • PMP certification is preferred.

  • Background in Curtain Wall industry is preferred.

  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing project budgets.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Ability to travel as needed
