What we need:



Mohawk is looking for a Manager of Freight Pricing (Finance) to lead our freight revenue team.


This individual will research and analyze data to strategically assess business needs and make recommendations to senior leadership that are designed to meet Mohawk's revenue goals. Uses detailed freight data to work cross functionally with IT, Logistics, Sales, and Finance to develop tools and systems for data mining and analysis of various data sources. Uses strong influencing and presentation skills to improve customer freight experience, simultaneously improving revenue maximization, process improvements for data management, and business intelligence updates.



What you'll do:




  • Execute pricing strategy and framework developed to support market aligned pricing.
  • Formalize pricing strategy KPIs with senior leadership, monitor, and take responsibility for the progress of the pricing strategy.
  • Communicate and make recommendations to senior leaders in Logistics, Finance, and Sales on key strategic freight initiatives.
  • Document and maintain best practices, project standards, procedures, application, quality objectives and "lessons learned"; ensures that reports are developed in a way that aligns methodologies across BUs, establishes and maintains best practices.
  • Gather and analyze industry competitive data trends and business intelligence. Regularly meet with internal stakeholders to stay abreast of the competitive market landscape and the customer perspective.
  • Develop and utilize systems tools to create a structure for analyzing, reporting and data mining of strategic information.
  • Identify revenue leakage and support a solution to prevent loss opportunities.
  • Manage SAP freight pricing database by updating customer pricing information.
  • Lead a team of 2 or 3, responsible for analytics and system data governance.



What you have:




  • Bachelor's degree in related field (Finance, Accounting, Business Administration) required with 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Specific work experience with demonstrated professional growth and achievement.
  • Experience in Master Data Management, Meta Data Management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Intermediate Excel and/or SQL experience, PowerBI.

  • Ability to manage/implement projects and contributes to concept development, and ability to identify, analyze and resolve business issues through solution-oriented projects.
