Job Description

Delivering outstanding claim data insights for our business by leveraging timely, quality claim data is a top priority for Chubb. We are looking for an innovative, results-oriented Data Architect with requisite experience and ambition to drive data engineering solutions for Chubb's cloud-based Claims Data Platform.

You should have a strong technical background in claims data systems and data architectures, have exceptional organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills and be an analytical and organized thinker.

You will have a demonstrable track record of developing data frameworks, designs, and delivering modern cloud data platform solutions to help drive business outcomes based on claims data insights. You must be a hands-on person with proven ability to deliver insurance solutions that leverage traditional SQL-based database engineering, no-SQL engineering, and cloud-based data platforms, and are comfortable operating in an agile development team culture, toolset, and delivery lifecycle.

Primary Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architecture, data, and engineering stakeholders to design, build, and optimize the Claims Data Platform and business insights based on the claims data platform.
• Provide system expertise by bringing deep knowledge of claims and insurance systems, and understanding the overall claims technology ecosystem, including incoming and outgoing data flows.
• Help build and maintain claims data pipelines and platforms in connection with the overall IT strategy.
• Plan, develop, and support data quality outcomes and controls to continuously improve quality of claims data.
• Work with key stakeholders to establish, implement, and monitor key performance indicators to inform and measure improvements and optimization.
• Collaborate with squad members and product owners to manage scope and business partner expectations, and provide input into the identification of risks and dependencies.
