How You Will Make an Impact
The Employee Relations Specialist will play a vital role in fostering positive employee relationships and maintaining a healthy work environment within the organization. The primary focus will be managing employee issues, conflict resolution, and promoting fair and consistent application of policies and procedures. This role will also collaborate closely with the HR team to develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.

The Nuts and Bolts
Serve as a primary point of contact for employees regarding workplace concerns and conflicts

Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints and allegations, ensuring a fair and unbiased process

Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on resolving conflicts and addressing performance issues in accordance with company policies

Stay current on relevant employment laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure company policies and procedures remain compliant

Advise management and employees on policy interpretation and application

Collaborate with HR leadership to develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention

Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback from departing employees and identify trends or areas for improvement

Conduct 30 60 and 90-day touchpoint meetings with the production/maintenance workforce and analyze data related to employee relations issues

Schedule and participate in monthly roundtable discussions, gather feedback, and identify trends or areas for improvement

Facilitate training sessions for managers and employees on topics related to employee relations, conflict resolution, and communication skills

Required Credentials
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred

3 years of professional employee relations experience
