RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Senior Accountant in Acton, Massachusetts (MA).

Summary:
This client is a medical device manufacturer that is committed to their customers and their health. They are a fast-growing company who prefer to promote internally when applicable. The role offers a strong career path and high visibility within the company. The position will be remote but will need to go into the office quarterly for team building.

Responsibilities include:

• Support monthly close and internal reporting process by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations for debt, leases, and accrued sales and marketing expenses


• Assist in ensuring that financial statements are in compliance with US GAAP


• Analyze monthly and quarterly fluctuations in accounts associated with areas of responsibility


• Assist with completion of internal controls associated with areas of responsibility


• Develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes


• Provide support to General Accounting group with operational analysis as related to recurring transactions and the monthly account reconciliation process


• Provide support for accounting for new business initiatives


• Assist with various projects and accounting matters and drive value within the business


• Performs other duties as required

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; MSA/MBA a plus


• 3-4 years of public accounting and/or corporate experience at SEC registered entities


• Proficiency with MS Windows and MS Office Software, especially Excel


• Excellent communication and analytical skills


• Deadline oriented with attention to detail


• Excellent organizational skills


• Ability to handle multiple projects


• Team player and collaborative


• Experience with SAP a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
