Kforce has a client that is seeking a Technical Program Manager in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a Program Manager, driving strategic initiatives, aligning teams, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering products for the Delivery Solutions program
Technical Program Manager will maintain a list of strategic activities and their status across all efforts within the program
Highlight risks and outstanding tasks
Facilitate conversations to mitigate risks and complete tasks
Create a proposed budget for the program and all associated projects and activities
Manage actual costs to comply with the approved budget
Run a repeatable process to identify and coordinate shared objectives and shared resources across related programs to ensure larger organizational goals and outcomes are achieved
Work collaboratively with the Product Mangers, Platform Operations, Project Management and Quality Assurance to establish and manage staff-augmentation or consulting vendor relationships and associated contracts related to the program formation or execution
Partner with the Product Manager to identify program-level objectives, deliverables, and milestones, to align project activities and dependencies with the program plan, and to apply the approach, resources, and techniques needed to ensure successful achievement of desired outcomes
As a Technical Program Manager, you will support strategic vendor relationships by analyzing contracts, scrutinizing invoices, coordinating processes and reporting deliverables
REQUIREMENTS:
Advanced degree in Project Management or Business Administration with 10+ years of experience, or Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of experience
Technical degree (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) or experience in a technical role is required; PMP and/or PGMP certification preferred
Program management experience is required to include managing complex, large-scale strategic efforts consisting of diverse stakeholders, projects, and technology platforms
Library or Publishing knowledge is preferred but not required
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
