POSITION SUMMARY:



The purpose of the Vending Mechanic First Class is to repair and maintain vending and fountain equipment, both in house and on the street.



REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:



The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary.


  • Remove old parts and replace with new parts to keep truck inventory current.

  • Plan day's calls.

  • Order any special parts not kept in truck inventory.

  • Drive to location, evaluate situation and perform necessary work (may include plumbing, electricity, refrigeration, carpentry).

  • After each call, complete paperwork on handheld device, print reports and end of every day.

  • Perform in house repairs.

  • Fill out paperwork including serial numbers and parts used.

  • Turn in paperwork at the end of every day.

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.




EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:



  • Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D and two years vending mechanic experience; OR (2) five years vending mechanic experience.

  • Basic electricity knowledge.

  • Basic plumbing knowledge.

  • Apprentice through Master Grade mechanic; work depends on skills.

  • Must maintain a valid Driver's License.

  • CDL Class B with airbrake endorsement.

  • Related training or certification.

  • Experience working in a team environment.

  • Office equipment including, but not limited to, computer, phone, fax machine, copier and calculator.

  • MS Office including Word and Excel.

COMPENSATION RANGE:

Potential earning is from $24.6698 to $34.4914 hourly
