Job Description:

Primary Duties & Responsibilities


  • Work closely with MES Analyst on Camstar/Upgrade project.
  • Work closely with MES Analyst and Developer on SPC improvements project.
  • Explore Camstar/Opcenter integration with Oracle ERP for online transactions and improvements.
  • Research, Develop and maintain detailed documentation for MES configurations, system architecture, and integration points to support system scalability and future enhancements.
  • Research and evaluate new Camstar/Opcenter capabilities, technologies and methodologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation within manufacturing operations.
  • Work on various PowerBI report requirements for manufacturing operation and improvements.
  • Work closely with automation engineer and understand tool/equipment automation and how we can utilize Camstar/Opcenter PAC.


Education & Experience

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial automation concepts.
  • Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Microsoft .NET, Python, SQL) and database management systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
  • Prior experience with MES software (Camstar/Opcenter) or related technologies (e.g., PAC, PLC) is a plus.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.


Skills

Working Conditions

  • This position is hybrid / remote
  • May require occasional off-site meetings or travel
  • Regular use of a computer and other office equipment is necessary
  • Interaction with team members and external contacts is a regular part of the job
  • May require occasional overtime and flexibility in work hours to accommodate project


Physical Requirements

  • Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or conducting meetings.
  • Use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.
  • Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative tasks.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Mobility within the office environment to attend meetings or interact with colleagues.
