The Continuous Improvement Supervisor reports to the Site TPM Manager and is a member of the Site's TPM team. The Continuous Improvement Supervisor coordinates the integration & implementation of focused improvement efforts for the site as well as provides ownership and support of sites data integrity, visibility, and automation. Responsible for all outcomes related to the techniques, processes, and systems in an area and supports the Area Own and Maintenance. Owns processes for Centerlines (CL), Clean, Lubricate and Inspection points (CILs), and Rapid Changeovers (RCO).


Individual Responsibilities (Processes/Tasks):



  • Operation Excellence

    • Define standard processes for managing centerlines (CL) CILs and ensure that processes are executed properly

    • Create and execute on standard processes for rapid changeovers (RCO)

    • Prepare and organize OPL and SOP changes

    • Work with production planners to optimize production schedule

    • Calibrate centerlines



  • Communications

    • Share best practices with other Process Leads

    • Communicate any procedural issues with suppliers



  • Continuous Improvement

    • Support large/small scale projects/modifications in area including machine parts design

    • Continuously improve standards and processes related to CL, CILs and RCO

    • Utilize centerlines and CILs to troubleshoot and ensure correct base condition

    • Train and coach operators on best practices for Centerlining, CILs and RCO

    • Perform health check audits to ensure plan and activities are on track.

    • Participate in department reviews and activities to ensure that work is properly integrated, and that progress is on track.

    • Coach teams through implementation of tools that build effective performance teams.



  • Data

    • Coordinate with software SME's to Support/lead data collection, visualization and automation initiatives

    • Provide support and training when deploying new tools and updates related to software or KPI tracking.




Key Cooperation Requirements:



  • You to Others

    • Collaborate with the other members of the Line Centric Team (LCT) in the implementation and improvement of DMS elements

    • Share best practices with other Process Leads

    • Support operators so that they can own processes Support engineers and project leaders on projects

    • Work with pillar owners to drive maturity for DMS's

    • Receive production schedule from production planners and collaborate on any changes

    • Transparency & accountability from production operators

    • Support from other members of LCT

    • Support from Area Supervisor




Qualifications/Requirements:



  • Education:

    • Engineering or related technical or Business degree preferred



  • Experience:

    • 5+ years manufacturing experience or related field in a consumer product manufacturing environment

    • TPM or lean manufacturing experience preferred

    • Data analysis and automation preferred

    • PowerBI, Tableau, Zarpac, SQL etc.



  • Knowledge and Skill Requirement:
