Essential Function:

The Director of Workforce Equity Initiative is responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the grant and plans, coordinates and completes the project within the established budget in accordance with all federal/state regulations, college policies and procedures.


Qualifications:

Education: Master's degree in Educational Administration, Communication, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Two to three years of senior management experience with demonstrated progressive responsibility. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Knowledge: Knowledge of project management practices, operations, procurement, case management and assessment.
Skills: Demonstrated organizational, planning, team building and leadership skills; ability to prioritize and handle a variety of tasks. Ability to work collaboratively and across disciplines in order to achieve objectives. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.


Responsibilities:

1. Initiates and manages grant activities and deliverables to ensure outcomes are met.
2. Creates and monitors metrics to measure program performance.
3. Identifies and collects relevant data to measure performance improve future workforce programming.
4. Participates in the development of outreach and engagement plans for targeted recruitment of participants.
5. Engages in outreach to recruit applicants.
6. Supervises Workforce Equity Initiative grant staff.
7. Organizes interdepartmental collaboration across disciplines and divisions to coordinate program performance.
8. Manages planning, budgeting, reporting, and delivery of services, coordinating with non-grant college staff and faculty.
9. Promotes ongoing discussion and development of solutions to issues of improving workforce equity in at-risk communities through trainings, services, and job placement.
10. Facilitate communications and work with all stakeholders as necessary to ensure compliance with project requirements.


11. Participate in evening and weekend special events as necessary.


12. Prepares and submits timely and accurate reporting for project.


13. Other duties as assigned by appropriate administrator.
