Your Role:

The IT Analyst II will have an immediate connection to Our Values (Integrity, diversity, respect and delivery of high quality products), be extremely flexible and enjoy working in a dynamic environment. This IT Support Analyst II must be team-oriented with high customer service standards. As part of the team, you will provide critical desktop, laptop, mobile device and post hardware support. A strong sense of urgency and highly tuned interpersonal skills, with the desire and ability to help support the business in all areas is a must.



Responsibilities

Your Work:

  • Answer, evaluate and provide guidance to home office associates experiencing problems with hardware, software, LAN/WAN connectivity, telecom, mobile devices (iPhones and iPads), email and other desktop/laptop (Mac & PC) related issues.
  • Provide excellent customer service over the phone, remotely and in person.
  • Train current and incoming associates on use of existing and future IT applications and devices.
  • Document all steps taken into ITIL ticket system, resolve tickets or escalate appropriately.
  • Frontline IT Support for on-boarding, off-boarding, shipping/receiving/imaging of all computer devices, and setup and configuration of mobile device.


Qualifications

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of 7+ years of experience.

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of IT experience focused on desktop, laptop and mobile device hardware.
  • Superb customer service skills
  • Demonstrated abilities to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines with efficiency and accuracy
  • Strong problem solving, organization and project management skills, with a willingness and desire to take responsibility, accountability and ownership
  • Ability to work outside of normal working hours to complete tasks, including occasional weekends/evenings
  • Proactive and self-motivated in approach to work tasks
  • Operating Systems: Windows, Mac OS x
  • Maintain corporate WAN/LAN network, AD, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi, Server backups, SAN, Raid arrays, Firewalls/Switches, Anti-virus administration and Printers.
  • VMware or Hyper V technologies. SQL Server 2005-2012 and SCCM 2007-2012. Redhat Linux enterprise.
  • Citrix Presentation server or Xenapp.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Disk imaging software such as Symantec Ghost.
  • Apple, A+, MCP for Windows server, ITIL certifications.
  • GMP experience a plus.
  • Regular hours will be 9am to 5:30pm with overtime hours when required.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

  • Regular hours will be Monday-Friday and other shifts, overtime and weekend work may be required to support the business
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Intermittent walking to gain access to work areas
  • Finger dexterity sufficient to use a computer and to complete paperwork activities
  • Vision sufficient to use a computer, to read written materials and to complete paperwork activities;
  • Hearing sufficient to communicate with individuals by telephone and in person
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Limited exposure to (2ºC - 8ºC); (-20ºC); (-75ºC); (-196ºC) areas.
  • Must have the ability to work around laboratories, manufacturing areas and equipment, and regularly lift 10 – 20 lbs and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • May be required to work alternate shifts
  • Job performed in a lab, office, or utility (noisy) environment
  • Must have the ability to work around laboratories, manufacturing areas and equipment with exposure to blood, blood products or OPIM (other potentially infectious materials) while donning required personal protective materials.
