Monday - Friday ~ 3:00pm - 11:30pm Perform a variety of custodial duties for C&W Services @ Dover School District, SAU 11. Such duties shall be in accordance with established standards, instructions, and procedures of C&W Services Job Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Remove trash and recycling
Vacuum or sweep & mop floors/stairwells
Vacuum carpets, spot clean carpets when required
Maintain corridors with daily sweeping, auto-scrubbing, and routine burnishing
Clean and disinfect drinking fountains, sinks, and toilets
Check and change light bulbs as needed
Perform routine dusting of vents, lights, ledges, and sills
Assist with snow removal and sanding near building entrances during winter months
Perform various tasks during summer cleaning such as furniture washing, floor stripping, waxing, etc.
You may be asked to 'float' to another building, or area other than assigned due to shortage in manpower, or to help with large events
Other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the site/and or building(s)
REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to take direction, work with minimal supervision, and function cooperatively as part of a team
Candidates must be able to successfully pass a background check
Requires attention to detail and pride in work completed
