The Senior Patient Access Representative working in our Pediatrics Katy Clinic works to achieve team and departmental goals by performing a variety of duties and procedures to follow-up and resolve outstanding accounts receivable balances on complex accounts by securing payment and/or applying the appropriate adjustments. In addition, responsible for analyzing accounts to identify trends as well as errors including incorrect adjustments, issuing corrected entries when necessary. This patient access representative will be at the forefront of our clinic, who will greet patients and families. This role requires a positive attitude, who is a team player in a pediatric multispecialty care environment, caring for patients from newborn to 18 years of age. Tasks range from patient check in/check out, obtaining prior authorizations/referrals for appointments, scheduling appointments, answering clinical phone calls, critical thinking, and other duties assigned. Schedule : Full-Time, Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm
Position Key Accountabilities:
Ability to multi-task.
Proficient typing/keyboarding skills.
Minimum Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum Experience:
Four years of experience in a hospital or medical business office setting.
Physical Requirements:
Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
