Position Summary

Assesses training needs and conducts training. Coordinates the delivery and design of programs within scope of responsibility.

Candidate will reside in and work from any state in which there is a physical Zone presence, limited to: Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, or Kentucky. Previous experience adjusting personal and/or commercial auto claims is PREFERRED. Previous mentoring or training experience is PREFERRED.

Duties and Responsibilities


  • Develops and delivers training curriculum to Employees and Agents, using available technologies
  • Schedules and delivers training in response to organizational needs. Consults with leadership to assess
    current training solutions and recommends training program modifications.
  • Reviews education materials and updates as necessary. Collaborates with other content owners to
    ensure that content is accurate and current
  • Maintains and applies current knowledge of trends affecting the insurance industry and/or adult learning.
  • Assists with projects related to assigned line of business or functional area. Conducts research and makes recommendations as required.
  • Adheres to budgets and company and travel guidelines

Qualifications

Educational Equivalencies
• Bachelor's degree in related field required; or
• Associate's degree in related field and two year related experience required; or
• High school diploma and four year related experience required

Two years relevant experience in designated training subject area, including a working knowledge of related business operations, procedures and systems required. Experience in training, consulting or related field required. Designation in a related field; eg General Insurance Certification (AINS) preferred.

CE Instructor designation, or willingness to attain, required. Proficiency with facilitation technology required. Delivery territory includes ERIE's entire area of operations. Incumbent may be asked to reside within a particular region or be based out of the Home Office. Travel, including overnight stays,required. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
