Our client is currently seeking a first shift Sr. Production Supervisor for their manufacturing facility.
Job Specifications:
- This position is responsible for maintaining production within the plant, as well as ensuring safety and sanitary conditions are met.
- Will lead, coach, train and develop direct reports on shift.
- Responsible for ensuring that production needs are met in a timely manner with minimal downtime
- Participate on lean manufacturing and continuous improvement projects.
- Will ensure that quality standards and expectations are met.
Requirements:
- BS/BA Degree is preferred but will consider additional experience in lieu of a degree.
- Formal Lean/CI experience (Six Sigma/Kaizen/Kanban/TPM)
- 5+ years of experience as a Supervisor/Superintendent or Manager in Consumer Packaged Goods (food/beverage/cosmetics, etc.) manufacturing.
- Experience leading salaried direct reports
- Open to 1st shift, Monday through Friday with an occasional Saturday (with extra pay)
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
