Job Description:


An Experience Planning & Reservations Manageris responsible for managing the reservations process and operation in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. This is a training and revenue focused position. Responsible for on-boarding and all Hilton and hotel training requirements. Developing specific and targeted traininginitiatives to support the revenue goals and expectations of Experience Planners.

What will I be doing?

As an Experience Planning & Reservations Manager, you would be responsible for managing the reservations process and operation in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:


  • Manage daily Reservations processes and operations to include, but not limited to, room inventory and availability, occupancy, selling guest rooms, and all resort activities and special event tickets, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation
  • Manage and communicate information regarding hotel occupancy, promotion, special reservation procedures, operational issues and special events
  • Serve as liaison with Experience Planning/Reservations teams company-wide
  • Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations, providing professional development and delivering recognition and reward
  • Recruit, interview and train team members
  • Calculate, prepare and generate designated reports, including, but not limited to agent productivity.
  • Develop and revise call volume and experience planning forecasts
  • Develop and conduct targeted training to support sales and revenue goals.
  • Be current on all Resort activities, events, dining options etc.
  • Be able to perform and supervise all essential responsibilities and expectations of the supervisor, experience planning.
  • Assist the team to achieve work efficiencies and individual sales goals and targets.
  • Support team during high call volume.
  • Active coaching to ensure all experience planners/reservations are able to meet and exceed guest demands and expectations.
  • In-depth knowledge of Hotel room types, all resort amenities and activities offered, Hilton Honors Program, Del Membership, wholesale contracts and travel agent inquiry and commissions.

Salary Range: The annual salary range for this role is $74,000.00 - $132,000.00 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
