We are looking for a RN Nurse Extern!

Working in a psychiatric setting involves providing care and support to individuals with mental health conditions. As an RN Nurse Extern in a psychiatric setting, you will assist nursing staff in monitoring patients, supporting therapeutic activities, providing patient care, and ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment. Your role will involve observing and reporting patient behavior, assisting with activities of daily living, participating in crisis intervention, documenting patient information, collaborating with the healthcare team, and maintaining a safe and secure environment. By demonstrating empathy, communication skills, and a commitment to patient well-being, you will play a vital role in supporting the mental health treatment and recovery of individuals in psychiatric care. 

• Current enrollment in an essential nursing program (RN or BSN). 


• Completion of at least one clinical rotation. 


• Basic understanding of nursing principles and practices. 


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 


• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. 


• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care. 


• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges. 


• Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
