Job Title: Product Manager, HR Technology (ServiceNow)

Department: 8540 HR Shared Services

Position Overview:

As an integral part of the HR Operations Team, the Product Manager, HR Technology will be the subject matter expert for Insulet's HR Technology platforms (specifically ServiceNow HRSD + ESC). The Sr. Product Manager will be responsible for articulating, gathering, and executing a vision / roadmap and backlog of capabilities + enhancements to create an exceptional HR Service Delivery Technology (powered by ServiceNow), covering the Employee Service Center Portal, Knowledge Base, and Case Management solutions (ultimately driving innovation and an exceptional employee experience). This position will oversee technical delivery of HRSD / ESC modules of ServiceNow and be responsible for working across internal stakeholders (HR Leadership, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and HR Operations) and other parties across Insulet (IT / Tech, Risk, etc.) to help set the direction and create the solutions for a varying degree of complex solutions.

Responsibilities:


  • Set the vision and roadmap for the HRSD / Service Now and Employee Service Center for HR by interacting with business users to gather and clarify business requirements and translate requirements into system functionality utilizing best practices and make recommendations to ensure optimal system functionality. Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the IT function, leveraging expertise in business analysis and experience with HR systems to recommend and implement solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.

  • Demonstrate expertise and ownership for the configuration, influence the strategy, and drive enhancements and testing of ServiceNow for HR (ensure deadlines are met and key deliverables are accurate).

  • Use excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and solve the most complex problems to design game changing solutions ServiceNow HRSD (Case Management), Employee Service Center (Portal), Knowledge Base, Document Management, and Reporting applications.

  • Leads highly visible multi-disciplinary project teams or initiatives; provide thought leadership, and collaborate with development and business stakeholders to define the solution/service, manage the backlog and release schedule, as well as manage timelines and capacity of the team to align with the business requirements, and partner with the ServiceNow platform team to ensure ServiceNow HR is aligned with their vision and strategy.

  • Evaluate newly released functionalities and recommend solutions that meet business needs while fitting into overall Human Resource strategies.

  • Maintain a strong focus on the user experience within HRSD solutions; work closely with UX/UI designers to enhance the usability and effectiveness of HR service delivery features.

  • Implement agile principles and practices in the product development process; conduct sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint review events to ensure the timely delivery of HR service enhancements. Lead User Acceptance Testing and system validation for projects.

  • Participates in the ongoing development, communication and implementation of team concepts, programs and policies; coordinates work to ensure best practices with all team members.

Education and Experience:

Minimum Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent field

  • 3-5 years experience supporting a HR Tech solutions environment

  • 2-4 years experience support HRSD / ESC in ServiceNow

Preferred Skills and Competencies:


  • ServiceNow certifications related to HRSD and Agile methodologies are highly desirable

  • In-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, specifically in the HRSD module

  • Exposure to Workday and/or similar HCM platforms

  • Possess a strong technical aptitude and innovative mindset, with the capability to understand and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Understanding of project management and how to drive results.

  • Working knowledge of HR processes.

  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and have strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Able to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate objectivity, be results-oriented, and show initiative and creativity.

  • Must be flexible, work well under pressure, and have the ability to readily adapt to change.

  • Results orientation and the ability to thrive in a fast paced, performance orientated culture.

  • Must be a team player as well as comfortable working independently

  • Strong computer skills and technical capabilities in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)

  • Self-starter that possesses a strong desire to seek optimal solutions and share discovery with colleagues

  • Ability to carry out clear instructions to continually raise the standards of processes

  • Ability to work with highly sensitive and confidential material and possess good business judgment and ethics.

Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $102,200.00 - $153,500.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
