OVERVIEW



Perform a number of highly time sensitive and diverse tasks to procure vehicles from dealer inventory throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico to satisfy both emergency and executive transportation needs of Wheels clients while at the same time negotiating competitive Fleet Pricing, ensuring our drivers a pleasant delivery experience and maintaining Service Level Agreements to meet our client's needs and expectations.


Please note that this description is not all-encompassing as other ad hoc tasks are expected of the position.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS



  • Locate vehicles and negotiate competitive Fleet pricing within 24 hours and purchases immediately upon receipt of authorization.



  • Purchase client-located and used vehicles from dealerships, as necessary.



  • Obtain billings and other required documents for all units purchased and proof them for accuracy to ensure timely payment and client billing.



  • Utilize applicable Wheels computer systems and dealer communication systems to effectively communicate status and document all activities thoroughly.



  • Resolve and Respond to all dealer issues relative to stock purchases, i.e., charge backs, billing discrepancies, delivery delays, missing and incorrect information.



  • Coordinate local deliveries as necessary to facilitate vehicle delivery based on client requirements.



  • Demonstrate thorough understanding of fleet incentives, retail rebates and customer eligibility by pricing accurately.



  • Demonstrate product knowledge for all makes models of cars and trucks including high-end and foreign vehicles for executive purchase programs.



  • Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the differences between fleet and retail vehicle.

  • Establish and maintain business relationships with dealers and function as primary liaison between Wheels and dealer during the stock purchase transaction.



  • Develop, demonstrate and effectively utilize a comprehensive working knowledge of title, registration and tax requirements as they apply to leased vehicles for all states, Canada and Puerto Rico.

QUALIFICATIONS



Associate degree or equivalent experience, preferably in purchasing, dealership, or automobile industry.


Minimum 2 years' experience in a fast paced /high volume Customer Service / Client Facing environment.


PC skills


Professional Customer service, Business Writing, and proper telephone etiquette



JOB SPECIFICATIONS, PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT




Work Environment: This position is in Alpharetta, GA or Des Plaines, IL and operates in a professional office environment.



Position Type/Standard Schedule: This is a Full-time position and hours of work are Monday through Friday; 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.



Travel: Occasional travel (less than 10%) is expected for this position to visit with client.



Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee must regularly talk and hear, and use hands and fingers to operate call center tools.
