How will you make an impact?



This position develops, issues, coordinates and communicates the daily manufacturing schedule as well as creates nesting configurations to achieve committed ship dates to customers in the most efficient manner possible.



What will you do?





  • Collaborate daily with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality Control, and Quality to resolve raw material issues, scheduling conflicts, inventory levels, and delivery requirements.

  • Directs the manufacturing efforts of the organization by developing daily production schedules, taking into consideration established committed lead-times and capacity.

  • Manage replenishment levels for applicable safety stocking programs.

  • Report on back orders, short stock, excess items and slow-moving inventory to the parties concerned.

  • Be accountable, measure, analyze and report key process metrics, and track adherence to key performance indicators such as inventory, timely delivery, and availability

  • Works with the Site PFEP (Plan for Every Part) to drive PFEP within the Value Stream.

  • Participates in lean manufacturing initiatives to continuously improve process flow.

  • Will be tasked to establish in process and out process metrics to drive on time delivery to production.

  • Participates in PPI events as a VS SME in regards to materials management and flow.


How will you get here?




Education:



  • Minimum required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or other business management focus or related field preferred.


Experience:



  • 3-5 years of relevant supply chain planning or procurement experience in a manufacturing supply chain.

  • Experience with a MRP system such as SAP, E1, etc.



Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:




  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, & Outlook)

  • Understanding of material requirements scheduling and planning concepts.

  • A strong balance of analytical skills and action orientation combined with practical business knowledge to drive sustaining results with intensity.

  • Ability to use technology tools and translate data into high-level analysis to facilitate collaboration with business leaders guiding towards desired business outcomes.

  • Ability to clearly communicate results of analysis in verbal and written format to different levels in the organization.

  • Proficiency in SAP, E1, or another major ERP system.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $90,900.00-$136,000.00.


This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
