Position Introduction


The Department of History at Vassar College invites applications for a two-year Post-Doctoral Fellow in 19th-Century American history beginning Fall 2024.

Position Description


Field of specialization is open, but we would prefer that the successful applicant be able to offer courses in 19th-Century US political history. The position carries a teaching load of 3 courses per year.





Salary Wage Range


Pay Transparency Disclosure: The annual salary for this full-time postdoctoral position is $80,000.
