Position Summary:
TheAcademic Assistant position will be housed within the Office of EducationalDevelopment within Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences (OSU-CHS). This position will serve as the primaryadministrative support for the College of Osteopathic Medicine (COM) at OSU-CHS.The support personnel will assist faculty, staff, and students withadministrative curricular tasks as well as other administrative duties assignedby the Director of Educational Development and/or Associate Dean forCurriculum.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, carry push, and pull 10-20 pounds, stoop, reach, stand, walk, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Education & Experience
Position Qualifications:
Required
-Associates/Vocational Degree or equivalent experience
-6 months relevantexperience
-Valid Driver's License
Skills, Proficiencies and Knowledge
- Proficient in PC environment with strong technical skills in latest computer software like MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and various presentation or multimedia software (Adobe, Flash, etc.)
- Demonstrates the ability in learning specialty software such as ExamSoft, ProgressIQ, Leo, etc.
- Capable of multitasking and providing timely responses to faculty with diverse responsibilities while maintaining confidentiality of information.
Preferred
-Bachelor's degree and 2 years relevant experience
