The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Juniata College invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor in the field of biochemistry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching biochemistry at all levels in the classroom and in the lab and will also be expected to contribute to introductory chemistry or organic chemistry coursework as needed. Other teaching opportunities can be created depending upon a candidate's specialization and teaching experience. In addition to teaching, the successful candidate is expected to build and sustain a research program which engages undergraduate students in the candidate's field of research during the academic year. Eligible applicants must hold a Ph.D. prior to August 2024.

This position reports to the Chair of the Chemistry and Biochemistry Department.
