Essential Functions of the Job:



  • Support manufacturing production processes with all required technical needs.

  • Develop and improve manufacturing processes by deploying product and manufacturing method enhancements.

  • Determine product and process manufacturing flow and sequences, material and labor requirements, and quality inspection points.

  • Create and maintain manufacturing routers and processes.

  • Must be able and willing to work extra time as necessary to ensure completion of assigned tasks.

  • Utilization of Solidworks to create process drawings, etc.

  • Utilization of general office computer tool and MRP software systems (AS400).


Education:



  • Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.

  • Other Science degrees may be considered.


Experience:



  • 0-1 years in manufacturing, electrical, or mechanical engineering.


Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:



  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Effective time management

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Bilingual in Spanish, French, German, Chinese, or Korean is considered a plus


Physical & Environmental Factors:



  • While performing the duties of this position the employee is frequently required to stand and walk and stoop or kneel; and regularly required to sit, use hands, and reach with hands and arms.

  • The employee must be able to frequently lift up to 25lbs.

  • The employee is expected to work on both machines and hand processes as part of the learning process.

  • The employee will be required to work in team environments for 5S+1, Process Flow, Cost Improvements, and other projects as assigned.

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.


This role is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which requires the incumbent to be either a US citizen, lawful permanent resident [“green card” holders] or have refugee or asylee status.




**Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for California. The pay range represents the low and high end of the salary range we reasonably expect to pay for this position at the time of posting. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, education, skills, qualifications, performance, and business or organizational needs.




Pay Range: $72,000 annually.
