Job Description:

Vertiv is hiring a Change Management Engineer in Anderson, SC who will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth transitions and implementations of changes within our engineering and manufacturing processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to assess, plan, and implement changes, fostering a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement. This role will also be responsible for project document control. Facilitating the flow of information and communication between all internal stakeholders for various projects. Performing various document control responsibilities for a specific technical group or department.


RESPONSIBILITIES


• Develop comprehensive change management plans outlining objectives, strategies, timelines, and resource requirements.

• Collaborate with project stakeholders to analyze the impact of proposed changes on engineering designs, manufacturing processes, and project timelines.

•Identify potential risks associated with changes and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to ongoing projects and operations.

• Implement engineering change orders, revisions, and assure approvals are secured and processed.

• Work cross functionally to ensure employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to adapt to changes effectively.

• Monitor the implementation of changes to ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance requirements.

• Coordinate, Maintain/set up the Document Control System (procedures, processes, templates, etc.)

• Become a subject matter expert of manufacturing change order processes, manufacturing processes, and project document control requirements.

• Drive on time document delivery throughout the project.

• Receiving, tracking, and monitoring vendor and internal drawings and documentation.

• Checking the accuracy of transmittals (drawings, BOMs, SOPs, etc.) received both internally and externally.

• Process and distribute all documentation internally and externally, as necessary

• Responding to internal and external drawing and documentation requests.

• Generate Document Control and Manufacturing Workmanship reports or drawings.

• Coordinate the storage, review, approval, and distribution of documents for a project.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Help maintain the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) and Product Data Management (PDM)

• Evaluate change management and document control processes and identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement. Implement best practices to drive efficiency and effectiveness.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 Years of related experience.
  • BA in Engineering
  • Knowledge of engineering terminology.
  • Experience working with and understanding drawings and documentation.
  • Proficiency in using an Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
  • High ethical standards - unwilling to compromise on worker safety and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrates positive, supportive, and cooperative behavior in interacting with co-workers, supervisors and management.
  • Understands electrical and instrumentation construction and workflow processes.
  • MS Office suite of software and product competency required.
