Ingram Micro Inc is on its digital journey to become a Technology company in IT Distribution. The scope of Business Transformation is broad, cross functional and throughout all levels of the organization and requires defining priority opportunities with high level of organizational impact within manageable levels of investments that generate an optimal return. This will include being able to transform the business model through the digital platform and operational lever initiatives and enable a "perform and transform" approach. The consultant BTO - Operational excellence is part of the Digital Operations - Business Transformation Operations Office (BTO) and will support the director BTO - Operational excellence in driving execution of specific operational Levers, leading to operational excellence, process standardization, incubation of digitally enabled processes, setting up centralized digital support functions and continuous improvement. He/She can take partial or E2E ownership of O-lever initiatives to ensure transformation plans are executed and KPIs at multiple levels of the organization are implemented and monitored, thus demonstrating effective and deep transformation and process change. He/she is responsible for executing the operational excellence strategy, covering specific functional areas, working closely with local/regional/global business teams and DigiOps, and is liaison to the Change management at regional and local level.

Key responsibilities of this role include:


  • Assist the Director BTO - Operational excellence in developing and executing a comprehensive strategy for operational transformation, in alignment with the organization's mission and goals.

  • Support cross-functional teams in identifying opportunities for productivity enhancement, automation, and continuous improvement across manual offline and digital platforms activities.

  • Participate in the implementation of transformative initiatives, working closely with team members to streamline processes and enhance user experiences.

  • Help establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of transformational efforts and track progress towards operational excellence goals.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to ensure buy-in and support for transformation initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

  • Provide support and guidance to project teams, assisting with project planning, execution, and monitoring.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in operational excellence and transformation, and share relevant insights with the team.

  • Assist in driving a customer-centric approach to transformation, ensuring that our solutions meet or exceed customer expectations.

  • Support efforts to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, providing training and development opportunities to team members.

  • Assist the Director BTO in developing scalable solutions that position our organization for sustainable growth and operational excellence in the long term.

Qualifications and requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Previous experience in a related role, with exposure to operational excellence principles, continuous business process improvement and methodologies

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and metrics to inform decision-making.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Passion for innovation and continuous learning, with a growth mindset and a commitment to driving change for the better.

This position demands a dynamic individual with a demonstrated ability to achieve results in a demanding and fast paced environment. Big Data affinity required. Mindset is very important. An influencer is key!

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $105,500.00 - $179,400.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate's primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
