3M is seeking a Systems Control Tech located in Clinton, TN. This position is a FULL-TIME position.

Job Description:  

Responsibilities: 

• Program/troubleshoot PLC software and hardware. 


• Interpret PLC ladder logic & machine sequence of operation


• Troubleshoot/diagnose/repair electrical, electronic and mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, components, and robotic systems


• Perform preliminary equipment inspections, run conduit and terminate wiring, install pneumatic lines, perform Point-to-Point wiring verifications


• Calibrate weight systems, transmitters, transducers, indicators, readouts, and tune control loops


• Complete shop records and use reporting system following established procedures as required for effective performance of the job or operation of the department


• Maintain a safe work environment


• Other duties as assigned

Required:  

• High School Diploma


• Possess a one (1) year technical diploma/degree or higher in a Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics or Maintenance discipline from an accredited institution or three (3) years of experience in Maintenance.

Desired:

• Possess a two (2) degree in a technical field


• Experience with Allen Bradley software: RS Logix, Control Logix, Factory Talk ME, Guard Logix

The starting rate of pay for this position is $34.49, with the potential to reach $38.62 . This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
