Position Overview:

  • The Manager, Global Sales Operations is a critical member of the broader Global Commercial Operations team and reports to the Sr Director, Global Sales Operations. Working in a global, dynamic, collaborative, cross functional and cross franchise team environment, the successful candidate will lead the development, implementation and management of global analytics and reporting for Insulet.

  • The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to comprehend complex global business dynamics, data environments, commercial processes, and market trends with a desire to drive excellence and execution. In addition, they should also have the technical and communication skills necessary to develop and communicate findings at all levels of the organization. This is a hands-on role playing a key position in driving the continued growth of Insulet.

Responsibilities


  • Development of lagging and leading global key performance indicators (KPIs) that drives a linkage of corporate strategy to commercial results both for regional and franchise management

  • Develops and maintains strong rapport with global business partners in sales, marketing, market access, Finance and Customer Care to develop global KPIs in support of their respective initiatives

  • Drives continuous improvement, automation, and self-service that can be scalable through optimized visualization leveraging multiple data environments

  • Be inquisitive, conducts analysis and makes recommendations for global commercial initiatives to drive growth and achievement of commercial strategy and objectives.

  • Proactively "connects the dots" across commercial teams, Finance & IT to drive alignment of strategy and tactics as well as inform prioritization decisions.

  • Performs other duties as required.

Required Skills and Competencies


  • Outstanding data management/analysis capabilities required.

  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiating skills are critical.

  • Experience supporting or working with a commercial organization, preferably in the pharmaceutical, or medical device industry.

Education and Experience


  • Bachelor's Degree, Business Administration (Finance preferred)

  • 5+ years related experience that includes business analysis and reporting

  • Experience driving commercial/sales process improvement.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and communicate global KPIs, insights and related recommendations.

  • Experience working with salesforce.com, and other analytical tools. Advanced microsoft excel (including VBA), and salesforce.com dashboard and reporting skills preferred.

  • Knowledge of salesforce.com concepts including campaign management, standard object features, console configuration, workflows, validation rules, Process Builder, Visual Flow, reporting, security settings, role hierarchy, Salesforce Lightning preferred.

  • Ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies

  • Proven problem solving and critical thinking skills

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth, performance and deadline driven environment

Additional Information

  • The position can be remote, hybrid or in-person at our Acton, MA headquarter location.

  • Travel is estimated at 20% but will flex depending on business need.

Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $102,100.00 - $153,400.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
